Steve Pearce has yet to his Grapefruit League debut this season as he has been dealing with an illness according to Guerin Austin of NESN. (Guerin Austin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
There is no word on how serious the illness is but it sounds like Pearce should be on the field soon. The veteran first baseman is going into the season platooning with Mitch Moreland at first base and may see some starts in the outfield as well.
