Charlie Morton fired 1 1/3 perfect innings in which he recorded a strikeout during the Rays' 10-5 Grapefruit League victory over the Orioles on Friday. (mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Morton looked good in his first outing in a Rays uniform after signing with the team in the offseason. Morton's four-seam fastball was consistently between 93 and 95 mph according to Juan Toribo of MLB.com. Morton could be a good pickup in fantasy drafts and his current ADP of 119 looks like a good value.
