Nathan Eovaldi was wanted back by Alex Cora

Bringing Nathan Eovaldi back ended up being the biggest move of the offseason for the Red Sox. “We wanted him back even before what he did in October,” Alex Cora said. “He’s a good pitcher. He’s healthy. He went through his injuries and all that but everything is fine. That’s the good thing. He was with us. So we knew everything about his shoulder and back, everything. His elbow, everything. We were pretty sure he was one of those guys we wanted back and have in that rotation.”

Fantasy Impact:

Eovaldi had an amazing postseason for the Red Sox with a 1.61 ERA and 0.80 WHIP in 22 1/3 innings. The veteran starter has secured a spot in the rotation and is currently going in the late rounds of fantasy drafts. If Eovaldi can stay healthy he should be a good target for owners.
