Keith Law of ESPN reports Craig Kimbrel to the Nationals is "further down the road" than what has previously been reported. (Keith Law on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic also hinted to a possible Kimbrel/Nationals union. While we have no further information it does appear the two sides could be progressing towards a deal. Kimbrel would presumably pitch the ninth wherever he signs, and that would be a killer for Sean Doolittle if he winds up in Washington.
