Chris Davis was scratched from the lineup on Tuesday due to left hip flexor strain. Davis was a late scratch from the lineup, with Jace Peterson replacing the 32-year-old on Tuesday. (Roch Kubatko on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Davis suffered the injury while reaching for a ball up the line, and it apparently bothered him during the Orioles simulated game on Monday. The veteran slugger is considered day to day and should be ready for the opening of the season.
