Miguel Sano out until May after undergoing debridement procedure

Miguel Sano underwent another debridement procedure on his right leg on Tuesday morning at the Mayo Clinic. He hopes to start baseball activities in mid-April and return to the team sometime in May. (Phil Miller on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Sano was already coming off a lost year, during which he batted just .199 and was sent to the minors. With this injury, Sano should be off fantasy owners' draft boards entirely, and he is nothing more than someone to watch for the first month or two if he appears healthy before his return. Marwin Gonzalez will likely move from his "jack of all trades" role to the everyday third baseman.
