Jordan Hicks struck out four batters in a one-inning appearance against the Phillies on Tuesday. Hicks threw 10 pitches at 100 mph or faster during the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
One of the strikeouts was on a wild pitch, allowing Hicks to pick up the bonus K. The Cardinals have not yet named a closer, but there's little doubt that Hicks has the kind of filthy stuff that teams like to feature in the ninth inning.
