Jose Leclerc reportedly agrees to long-term deal with Rangers

The Rangers and Jose Leclerc have reportedly agreed on a long-term deal, according to Evan Grant. (Evan Grant on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Leclerc was a revelation last year, pitching to a 1.56 ERA and taking over as the Rangers' closer late in the season. The big reason for his success was a dramatic drop in walk-rate, which he'll need to maintain to continue to have success. But, at the very least, this move shows that the Rangers are committed to Leclerc, which greatly enhances his job security, and he should be a reliable closer for all of 2019, so long as his old control issues do not come back to haunt him.
