Luis Castillo allows three runs Thursday

Luis Castillo allowed three runs in two innings in the Reds' 11-3 spring loss to the Mariners on Thursday. Castillo surrendered three hits and two walks while striking out four.

Fantasy Impact:

A two-run homer by Omar Narvaez in the first hurt, but the four strikeouts were nice to see from Castillo. After an amazing finish to 2017 Castillo was the pitcher darling of 2018 drafts, but ultimately scuffled to a 4.30 ERA by season's end. His 3.85 SIERA was encouraging, and one could expect his 1.49 HR/9 to fall if his outrageous 17.9% HR/FB normalizes this season. Castillo could be a nice post-hype bounce back in 2019. He's a high upside SP3-4 depending on league depth.
