Jhoulys Chacin threw 4.2 scoreless innings in the Brewers' 8-5 win over the White Sox on Monday. He gave up one hit and one walk and struck out three.
Fantasy Impact:
Chacin is getting stretched out for the regular season, and the right-hander will look to be a workhorse for Milwaukee and fantasy owners once again. He led the majors with 35 starts last season and threw 192.2 innings of 3.50 ERA ball. His 4.59 SIERA and 2.20 K/BB ratio suggest Chacin is due to regress, but he is still a reliable volume play going towards the end of drafts. He's best used in NL-only leagues, where the volume is even more valuable.
