Anthony DeSclafani allows one run Monday

by Elliott Baas | Twins Correspondent | Tue, Mar 12th 1:53am EDT

Anthony DeSclafani allowed one run on four hits in 3.1 innings in the Reds' 5-5 spring tie with Cleveland. DeSclafani also walked one and struck out two.

Fantasy Impact:

DeSclafani has been solid all spring, having allowed just two earned runs in 9 innings thus far. Last season was a bit of a train wreck for DeSclafani, who posted a 4.93 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 21 starts in 2018. His 1.88 HR/9 rate was rather high, even for someone pitching in Cincinnati, and his 19.8% HR/FB ratio will certainly regress. His 3.6 K/BB ratio and 3.96 SIERA suggest DeSclafani could perform better in 2019, but he's a late round rotation filler this draft season.
