Jameson Taillon allows three runs Tuesday

by Elliott Baas | Cubs Correspondent | Wed, Mar 13th 2:45am EDT

Jameson Taillon allowed three runs on five hits over four innings in the Pirates' 10-4 spring loss to the Twins. He struck out two and walked zero.

Fantasy Impact:

Taillon is still ramping up his innings this spring, so we aren't too worried with a poor outing like this. Taillon is a hot breakout candidate this draft season, thanks to the slider he developed and began throwing in 2018. His second half was phenomenal, as Taillon posted a 2.33 ERA, 3.27 FIP, and 4.75 K/BB ratio in 85 innings. The sky's the limit for the 27-year-old right-hander in 2019.
