Andrelton Simmons was scratched from Wednesday’s game due to elbow soreness and fatigue. It does not sounds like an issue that will delay his start to the regular season. (Fabian Ardaya)

Simmons led the league in contact percentage last year batting .292/.337/.417 with 11 homers and ten steals in 554 at bats. His ground ball ways will not help him improve on his home run total, but you can expect a solid average and if given the green light, 20 steals or more. Simmons makes for a quality middle infield choice in larger leagues.
