Steve Pearce hits two homers against the Tigers

Steve Pearce hit a pair of homers Thursday as the Red Sox and Tigers played to a 4-4 tie. Pearce hit a two-run homer off Matt Boyd in the fourth and added a solo shot off Victor Alcantara two innings later.
Fantasy Impact:
The two homers were Pearce's first hits of the spring. The veteran slugger is going to be in a platoon with Mitch Moreland at first base and may get an occasional start in the outfield. Without an everyday role Pearce is more of a deep league own for fantasy owners.
