Fantasy Impact:
This was a bit of a surprise given Hays' pedigree and huge spring, as well as the dearth of reliable options for the Orioles. But it's worth remembering that the heralded prospect missed the majority of last season with an injury, and still has had limited at-bats in the minors. It's a strong bet that Hays will be up with the big club at some point soon, and he's worth a stash in deeper mixed leagues.
