Dellin Betances (shoulder) will open year on injured list

Yankees GM Brian Cashman announced Tuesday that Dellin Betances (shoulder) will begin the season on the injured list. (Lindsey Adler on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Betances said he has felt fatigue in his shoulder before but it has always gone away as he built up strength. This time, however, Betances thinks he pushed it too hard early on. He’ll be shut down from throwing for a few days but shouldn’t wind up missing more than a few weeks of the season. It could mean more hold opportunities for Adam Ottavino.
