Mark Berman of Fox 26 in Houston reports Alex Bregman and the Astros have come to terms on a six-year, $100 million contract extension. (Mark Berman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic has confirmed the contract. It was reported earlier tonight the two sides were discussing an extension, and it turns out the deal was already in the final stages. The six-year pact will cover this season, Bregman's three arbitration years, and his first two years of free agency. The budding superstar will then hit free agency entering his age-30 season. This feels like a good move for both Bregman and the Astros.
