Billy Butler expected to play some first base this season

New addition Billy Butler is expected to primarily play designated hitter for the A's, but manager Bob Melvin did indicate that Butler will play some first base against left-handed pitchers. (Athletics.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Butler has averaged a .912 OPS against lefties in his career, and will spell Ike Davis against southpaws. As long as Butler keeps getting enough starts to remain first base eligible in your leagues, he will be a decent value at the position.
