San Diego still negotiating for Cole Hamels

According to John Heyman, the San Diego Padres and Philadelphia Phillies continue to have an open dialogue regarding a possible trade to send Cole Hamels to the Padres. (John Heyman, CBS Sports)
Fantasy Impact:
The Padres continue to shop for pieces to help contend with their NL West rival Dodgers. and acquiring Hamels could be highly beneficial for both members. Over the past three seasons, Hamels has a 2.84 ERA in San Diego, over half a run per game better than his 3.36 ERA at Citizens Bank Park. With so many question marks surrounding pitchers coming off injury, Hamels should already be viewed as a top of the rotation pitcher and a move to San Diego could help to make him a top 5 pitcher in 2015.
