Chris Paddack in line to start third game of season

Chris Paddack will pitch on Monday versus the Mariners, which lines him up to start the Padres' third game of the season on Saturday versus the Giants. (AJ Cassavell on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
San Diego has announced that Eric Lauer will pitch on Opening Day and that he'll be followed in the rotation by Joey Lucchesi. However, they haven't officially announced anything beyond that. Hopefully for Paddack's fantasy owners he can deliver a strong start tomorrow, which could be all the Padres need to see before officially naming him their number-three starter. In 12 2/3 innings this spring Paddack has struck out 20 and allowed three earned runs.
