James Paxton gives up two runs in final spring start

James Paxton gave up two runs to the Twins over 5 2/3 innings in his final spring tuneup Sunday. Paxton scattered six hits and a walk, striking out five in the outing.

Fantasy Impact:

Paxton had a good spring in his first season with the Yankees. The lefty has always pitched well when he is on the mound but the biggest issue with him is staying healthy. He has never avoided injuries is his MLB career with last year being the most innings he pitched at 160. If Paxton can avoid the injured list he could be a top ten fantasy pitcher in 2019.
