Sonny Gray

Sonny Gray K's seven Sunday

by Elliott Baas | Cardinals Correspondent | Sun, Mar 24th 7:51pm EDT

Sonny Gray allowed one run over five innings in the Reds' 4-3 spring loss to the Rockies on Sunday. He struck out seven and walked zero.

Fantasy Impact:

Gray has had a nice spring thus far, having allowed just one run in ten innings of work. The 29-year-old right-hander will look to bounce back from a disastrous 2018 campaign that saw Gray post a 4.90 ERA and 3.94 BB/9 with the Yankees. The hope is that a move to Cincinnati will help Gray return to the pitcher he was with Oakland, and if his .326 BABIP can normalize Gray should be a sub-4 ERA pitcher once again.
