Fantasy Impact:

Paddack is clearly one of the Padres’ top starters right now so he makes the rotation despite having just seven career starts above Single-A. The 20-year-old was phenomenal this spring, posting a 1.76 ERA and a 24/3 K/BB ratio over 15 1/3 innings. San Diego will likely limit Paddack’s workload at times this season, but he has major fantasy upside for the innings he’ll give you. The top prospect is a favorite for National League Rookie of the Year right now, and he needs to be owned in every fantasy league.
