The team is optimistic regarding his outlook, but the fact that he's yet to resume baseball activities indicates he's still without a clear return timetable. The Yankees committed to Hicks this preseason, but he'll begin the new year on the IL for fantasy managers. Injuries have long been Hicks' issue, and it doesn't appear that will change in 2019.
