Jhoulys Chacin strikes out seven, homers in win Thursday
by Elliott Baas | Thu, Mar 28th 11:28pm EDT
Jhoulys Chacin allowed three earned runs on three hits over 5.1 innings Thursday in the Brewers' 5-4 win over the Cardinals. He struck out seven and walked two.
Fantasy Impact:
Chacin also helped himself with a solo home run off Miles Mikolas in the fifth. His slider was on in this one, which helped him rack up seven strikeouts. He allowed back-to-back home runs in the second, but was otherwise solid. Chacin's 3.50 ERA from a year ago will likely regress, but he'll be a solid innings eater in deeper leagues and a matchup play in shallower ones in 2019.
