Corbin Burnes strikes out 12 in 2019 debut

Corbin Burnes allowed four runs on six hits over five innings in the Brewers' 5-4 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. He struck out 12 and walked one.
Fantasy Impact:
The fastball/slider combo was working well for Burnes in this one, as the young right-hander got eight Cardinals down swinging and 12 total on strikes. Now for the bad news; Burnes served up three home runs in five innings along with the strikeouts. Home runs were never a problem for him in the past, so we can excuse it this time, but we'll have to watch out just in case today's Gopheritis wasn't an acute occurrence. He'll next pitch Saturday against the Cubs at home.
