Jordan Hicks blows save on Sunday

by Elliott Baas | Giants Correspondent | Sun, Mar 31st 6:03pm EDT

Jordan Hicks blew his save chance on Sunday, allowing two doubles and a single in the Cardinals' 5-4 loss to the Brewers. He recorded just one out and was saddled with the loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Hicks was asked to get a four-out save, and got just one of those outs in the bottom of the eighth. He started things off with a double to Ben Gamel, then an infield single to Lorenzo Cain, and a two-run double to Christian Yelich. Andrew Miller and Alex Reyes also gave up runs in this game, so today's performance doesn't necessarily mean Hicks' job is in danger. He is still the best reliever to own in St. Louis, for now anyway.
