Jordan Lyles to start on Thursday

Jordan Lyles has been named the Pirates' fifth starter. He will make his first start Thursday at home against the Reds. (Bill Brink on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Lyles showed flashes of promise last season as a starter, but ultimately finished with a mediocre 4.11 ERA and 4.09 FIP. Even more discouraging, he did his best work out of the bullpen. As a starter Lyles had a 4.79 ERA, 1.91 HR/9, and 4.93 FIP. He posted a career-high 10.3% SwStr rate lasts season, but that's just about league average. There isn't much value here outside of NL-only leagues.
