Kyle Hendricks roughed up in first start Monday

Kyle Hendricks allowed seven runs (two earned) on 10 hits over 4.1 innings in the Cubs' 8-0 loss to the Braves on Monday. Hendricks walked three and struck out four.

Fantasy Impact:

A couple of throwing errors saved Hendricks' ERA, but the right-hander did not pitch well in any regard in this game. He allowed 14 baserunners and coughed up two home runs over four and a third. Hendricks has posted an ERA of 3.44 or better over each of the last three seasons, so there is no reason to overreact after one poor outing. He'll look to bounce back Sunday against the Brewers.
