Outfielder Ronald Acuña and the Atlanta Braves are finalizing an eight-year, $100 million contract extension, according to MLB insider Jeff Passan. The deal reportedly includes two club options. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Acuna is still just 21 years old and has multiple years of team control remaining, so this is a massive extension for a player with his age and experience. The deal is a win-win as the Braves get to lock up their young superstar while Acuna gets an earlier payday and financial security. Passan adds that, with this deal, Atlanta locks up Acuna for the next 10 years at a maximum of $124 million.
