Randal Grichuk agrees to contract extension

Rogers Sportsnet's Shi Davidi reports that Grichuk and the Blue Jays have agreed to terms on a five-year contract extension worth $52 million. (Shi Davidi on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It's a nice payday for Grichuk, who will look to improve upon a 2018 performance in which he batted .245 with 25 home runs and 61 RBIs in 462 plate appearances. While the Toronto lineup won't exactly strike fear into opponents, you could do worse than Grichuk as a fourth outfielder in standard leagues since he'll play nearly every day and likely bat cleanup the majority of the time.
