Masahiro Tanaka gave up one run on eight hits and no walks across 6 2/3 innings during Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Tigers. He struck out seven and did not factor in the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Tanaka has looked great in his first two starts giving up just two earned runs and striking out 12 batters over 12 1/3 innings. The veteran righty is slated to face the Astros on the road on Monday and may have a tougher time against a good lineup.
