Lorenzo Cain (rest) not starting center field for Milwaukee on Wednesday

Lorenzo Cain will not be in the lineup against the Cincinnati Reds. The speedy outfielder will be available from the bench for pinch hit duties. (Tom Haudricourt on Twitter)

Cain will take a scheduled day off according to manager, Craig Counsell. Cain should be back in the lineup on Friday, when the Brew Crew take on the Chicago Cubs. For Wednesday's game, Ben Gamel will man center field and bat leadoff. Gamel is batting .200 with two hits, one being a double, and one-run scored.
