by Mike Maher | Wed, Apr 3rd 2:53pm EDT

Nationals starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez is leaving Wednesday afternoon's game against the Philadelphia Phillies after being hit in the right leg by a comebacker hit by Andrew McCutchen. Sanchez was hit in the third inning but stayed in the game after being visited by trainers. He was visited by trainers again during his at-bat in the fourth inning and was removed from the game before the start of the fifth inning after being visited by trainers a third time. Fantasy Impact:

Sanchez left Wednesday's game with four runs allowed on four hits and four walks over four innings while striking out three. Look for an update on his status later this evening or in the coming days after he undergoes further evaluation.
