Mazara suffered the injury during a collision at first base, but stayed in the game through the eighth inning and actually hit a home run before departing. Mazara was already scheduled to receive an off day on Thursday, so that's a near certainty now. His removal from the game is being deemed precautionary, so consider him day-to-day.
