Jameson Taillon allows one run in no decision Wednesday

by Elliott Baas | Cubs Correspondent | Thu, Apr 4th 1:27am EDT

Jameson Taillon allowed one run on five hits over seven innings in the Pirates' 5-4 extra innings loss to the Cardinals on Wednesday. He walked zero and struck out five.

Fantasy Impact:

Taillon pitched well enough for a win, his lone blemish being a solo home run to Paul DeJong, but his bullpen let him down in this one. It was nice to see Taillon bounce back after a rough first outing, and the 27-year-old righty will look to continue his strong performance and deliver on lofty preseason expectations. His next chance will come Monday against the Cubs in Chicago.
