Kansas City Royals right-hander Jakob Junis pitched well in a no-decision against the Tigers on Thursday. Junis allowed three runs in six innings of work while striking out eight batters. The Tigers went on to win the game 5-4.

Junis was able to work around nine baserunners in the game as he allowed six hits and walked three. The young right-hander now has a 1-0 record, 4.63 ERA, and 14 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings of work.
