Kansas City Royals reliever Brad Boxberger pitched a scoreless inning against the Tigers on Thursday. He struck out two in his team's 5-4 loss to Detroit.
Fantasy Impact:
Expected to be the team's primary closer, Boxberger got a save on the team's first game of the season but then allowed four runs over his next two outings. Boxberger's solid outing coupled with Ian Kennedy's blown save the other day may open the door for the former to get the ninth inning role back.
