Jordan Lyles tossed five scoreless innings in the Pirates' 2-0 win over the Reds on Thursday. He allowed three hits, three walks, and struck out two in the no decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Lyles wasn't exactly sharp in this one, but he was able to keep the scuffling Cincinnati Reds off the board. Lyles might have value in NL-only leagues as a back-end starter, but he lacks the volume and ability to make an impact in mixed leagues at this point. His next start comes Wednesday in Chicago against the Cubs.
