Jack Flaherty tosses five scoreless in no decision Friday

Jack Flaherty allowed six hits and no runs over five innings in the Cardinals' 5-3 loss to the Padres on Friday. He walked two and struck out six in the no decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Flaherty may have struck out six, but he was rather fortunate to have kept San Diego off the board considering he allowed eight baserunners in five innings. It also took him 98 pitches to get 15 outs. There is plenty of talent in this young arm, but Flaherty still has flaws to work out at this point. His next start comes Tuesday against the Dodgers at home.
