Josh Bell doubles twice and homers in win Saturday

Josh Bell went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, a solo home run, and two RBI in the Pirates 6-5 extra innings win over the Reds on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Bell flexed his muscles at the plate in this one, highlighted by a 431-foot home run off Tanner Roark in the fifth. Bell's power fell off big time between 2017 to 2018. He went from 26 home runs and a .211 ISO to 12 homers and a .150 ISO in just 50 fewer plate appearances. He could be capable of consistent power, but he'll need to elevate the ball more considering his 50% career groundball rate. Between that and his home ballpark one shouldn't expect huge power from Bell over the course of the season.
