Miguel Sano (leg) starting baseball activities

Miguel Sano has proven he is healthy enough to progress into his next phase of recovery: baseball activities. Though this means very little, it makes Sano one step closer in his return. Manager Rocco Baldelli also implied that Sano could be sent on rehab assignment within a week - though it is worth noting, Baldelli did not want to put a firm date on the situation. (Do-Hyoung Park)
Fantasy Impact:
Sano hurt fantasy owners, in 2018, after failing to live up to 2017's All-Star performance. While Sano will always be a high-upside choice, due to his power tool, he must prove that he is healthy enough to contribute and play everyday. Even then, there is no guarantee that Sano will hold the position all the way through his 2019 campaign. Keep Sano off rosters for now, his arrival is still expected to be in May.
