Jose Berrios takes loss in quality start

by Matthew Adam | Blue Jays Correspondent | Sun, Apr 7th 4:21pm EDT

Minnesota Twins right-hander Jose Berrios allowed just two runs in six innings of work on Sunday but he wound up taking the loss as the Phillies won 2-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Berrios struck out seven and walked three. He deserved a better fate as his only mistake resulted in a two-run homer off the bat of Rhys Hoskins which ended up being all the runs the Phillies needed. Berrios is becoming a true ace in front of our eyes, posting a 2.18 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 20 2/3 innings in his three starts this year. Up next he will square off against the Tigers at home.
