Chris Davis sets MLB record for consecutive hitless at-bats
by John Aubin | Tue, Apr 9th 4:12am EDT
Chris Davis went 0-for-5 at the plate with two strikeouts on Monday as the Orioles beat the Athletics by a 12-4 score.
Fantasy Impact:
Davis was able to top Eugenio Velez's major league record of 46 consecutive hitless at-bats which dates back to last season. The veteran slugger is 0-for-28 at the plate this year with 15 strikeouts. Davis is not worth owning in any fantasy leagues.
