Brian Dozier hits first homer Monday
by Mike Maher | Tue, Apr 9th 9:12am EDT
Nationals second baseman Brian Dozier went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Philadelphia Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Dozier has been in an awful slump to start the season, and he was 0-for-3 once again on Monday before a ninth-inning home run off Pat Neshek got him on the board for the first time this season. He has been batting second for the Nationals with Trea Turner on the Injured List, but he could be dropped in the lineup sooner rather than later if he doesn't start producing consistently. Hopefully for him and for fantasy owners, Monday was the start of a breakout.
