Joey Votto got hit by a pitch during Tuesday's rout over the Marlins. He later left an already lopsided affair in what appears to be a precautionary move.
Fantasy Impact:
Votto didn't look particularly bothered by the beaning, as he retrieved the ball and politely tossed it back to Wei-Yin Chen. Drilled on the back, the early exit likely had more to do with the score. Votto is batting just .235/.333/.441 to start the season, but the 35-year-old first baseman still has plenty of bounce-back potential if he stays healthy.
