Jason Heyward went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a pair of singles in the Cubs' 5-2 loss to the Pirates on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Heyward's bat has been smoking lately, as he now has four home runs in his last five games after hitting just eight in 127 games last year. It's hard to buy into Heyward's production in such a small sample size, especially given his offensive futility over the past few years, but fantasy owners should ride out the hot-hand here and hope some of the production is the result of actual improvement rather than good fortune.
