Pedro Strop earns first save Thursday
by Elliott Baas | Thu, Apr 11th 11:30pm EDT
Pedro Strop pitched a perfect ninth inning for his first save of the year in the Cubs' 2-0 win over the Pirates on Thursday. He struck out one.
Fantasy Impact:
Strop had a bit of a shaky start to the season, but this is now his third straight scoreless outing. With how the rest of the Cubs bullpen has shaken out, Strop seems like the best candidate for saves until Brandon Morrow returns.
