Javier Baez went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in the Cubs' 5-1 loss to the Angels on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Baez is prone to days like this thanks to his aggressive, free-swinging approach at the plate. He now has 21 strikeouts and just three walks in 59 PA, and carries a .232 AVG on the year. His current 35.7% strikeout rate is high even for Baez, and we should expect better production once he can cut it down to under 30%. He's still a must-start player even when slumping because of his power-speed combo.
