Josh Bell hits third home run in win Friday

Josh Bell went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in the Pirates' 6-3 extra innings win over the Nationals on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Bell has opened the season nicely for Pittsburgh, with a .295 AVG and .273 ISO in his first 51 PA. Bell has the potential for big power, but he needs to elevate the ball better, as he has a 50% career groundball rate. That's the last thing we want from a 235-pound first baseman. So far he hasn't hit many more flyballs, so it seems unlikely that his power is sustainable. That being said, it's okay to ride out a hot streak with Bell and hope some of the production sticks.
